Did you know that 1 in 5 children struggle with hunger? Every day, households across the Bronx community struggle to provide food and resources to feed themselves and their families adequately. The Every Day is a Miracle (EDM) organization realizes food insecurity is a prevalent issue in its community and is on a mission to prevent this as much as possible by improving socio-economic challenges in the Bronx’s underserved communities. They can tackle these obstacles by providing their residents with resources to help them become self-sufficient and productive members of society. Our agency values the devotion Every Day is a Miracle shows our youngest neighbors and is pleased to announce our support in achieving its ambitious goal.

EDM is a non-profit that works to alleviate food insecurity in the Bronx community. The food it receives comes from a network of relief organizations and community gardens and is then collected and organized into a food pantry. From there, residents can easily choose their food selections based on religious/cultural preferences and dietary needs.

Since opening its doors, EDM has distributed more than 2.9 million meals to 294,834 individuals in the Bronx community. However, this couldn’t be done without the diligent work of its 569 volunteers. EDM relies on volunteers to keep operations running smoothly and is constantly looking for individuals eager to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
