I have always had a passion for helping people. Over 18 years ago, I turned that passion into a profession and became an Insurance Agent. The most exciting part of my job is helping others protect what matters most to them and being their trusted advisor. My wonderful team and I are committed to providing the best customer experience to our clients. Outside of the office, I really enjoy spending quality time with my family and close friends. Gymnastics with my little girl or dinner and movies with my boys are what I consider a perfect weekend. I believe one of my talents is the ability to connect with people. Being a New Yorker, I have been lucky enough to live in a city that is the melting pot of so many wonderful people and cultures. I am passionate about helping people in need, especially children who are fighting cancer. Through Mendoza Agency Cares, I look forward to building relationships and continuing to serve NY and beyond.

I have been licensed to sell insurance since 2015.  I was in my Sophmore year in college when I decided to help my mother with her Insurance Agency. I grew up in the Bronx, NY. I attended Brooklyn Tech Highschool which is one of the specialized high schools in NYC. In 2017, I graduated from Stonybrook University with a Biology Major. The most exciting part of my work is the ability to help families secure their assets though insurance. I really enjoy everything Sports related! I have always played different sports, i.e  baseball, basketball, football. You can find me at the local animal shelter gushing over puppies. Or volunteering to walk them. I also belong to a baseball league with a group of highschool and college friends. I can run a 4.7 40 yard dash! I volunteer at bestfriends.org

I was born and raised in the Bronx. I attended college in Albany. I have two years now of experience. I am looking forward to many more years in this exciting industry. I am most excited about educating the public and turning something that can be intimidating into something accessible to all.

I enjoy spending time with my son. He is my everything. I also enjoy reading, cooking, baking, and being at peace in my home. I am a baker and started an at-home baking business during COVID. You can find me at home. My favorite way to spend a weekend is with my loved ones and some good eats.

I grew up traveling back and forth between the US and the Dominican Republic. I’ve studied in both countries, opening my mind to many things. Different ways of learning, teaching, and thinking, and even if I didn’t agree with everything I learned, it helped me grow.

I will soon have one year in the Insurance Industry. Working in the Insurance Industry, I’ve realized that just because it’s mandatory to have it doesn’t mean people necessarily understand how it works. That means companies can take advantage of people or do things without taking the time to explain them to the Insured. I do feel that we always do things with the insured in mind, which means they know and understand everything before it is done and pride themselves in our customer service. Even if someone doesn’t get a policy with us, they will still leave our office better informed and knowing they have somewhere to go if they ever have questions or concerns.

New York DMV rules and regulations concerning Insurance as it affects all New Yorkers, yet they are rarely informed of the consequences of not returning their plates, etc.

I’m obsessed with Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. I love old movies and TV shows as well and can talk about them just as long as NY DMV rules.

A good weekend to me comes in the form of me, my son, and my partner under a big fuzzy blanket, hot cocoa in hand, picking out a good family-friendly cartoon that makes me cry no matter how old I get.

I did a few service trips in college, my favorite of which was going to Antigua, Guatemala, to help with the kids in schools, as well as volunteering our time to help build ovens in their homes. The entire experience was amazing as I was able to help others while being in a new, exciting environment.
